I was raised in the Midwest, educated at Texas Tech University and received a 5-year professional degree in Architectural design with a specialty in Fine Arts. As a practicing Architect in Florida for fifteen years, I have used my award-winning building design to develop my artistic jewelry pursuits. An obsession with architectural precision and the creation of art jewelry has evolved into a unique style of jewelry.
A life-long fascination with rare stones led to the cutting of Australian precious opal, which I began in 1992.
I was immediately enchanted with black opal and began creating jewelry focused around fine Australian material.
My jewelry style has progressed from that point and is strongly geometric, incorporating elements from my formal training with few of the traditional themes seen in bygone ages. The creative mix of contemporary lines with Art Deco and Art Nouveau traditions transcends the standard view of jewelry and is ever evolving. You can see some of my designs on the store. I am sorry, these are sold. But I have many others available.
